Who We Serve

Camp Dogwood is available to any resident of North Carolina with blindness or visual impairment between the ages of 18-100+ years. At a minimum campers should be visually impaired which is defined as vision of 20/70 with best correction. All campers must be able to provide their own self-care skills, such as eating, bathing, dressing, and toileting. If a camper needs assistance with these skills they are required to bring a caregiver with them. Sighted individuals may accompany the camper as caregiver, companion, spouse, or minor child.

Blind & visually impaired youth accompanied by a parent/guardian are welcome.

Out of state campers may be accepted if space is available. Special pricing and conditions apply. Please contact the camp for additional information.
